Digitary Implementation at University of Kent

Framework Solutions (later renamed as Digitary) has signed contracts for the implementation at University of Kent of the Digitary system for the issuing and authentication online of electronic official graduation documents. This is the first implementation in the United Kingdom of the Electronic European Diploma Supplement.

To help in the decision, a group from University of Kent visited a University of Limerick to understand what had been the experience at Limerick of the implementation and use of the system. University of Kent see the potential applications for the system to be beyond graduation documents. Dr Jeremy Ovenden, Head of Planning and Student Records, said "We were quite excited by what [the system] can offer and by the potential savings in current operations".
