Digitary showcased at Europass Ireland launch
Digitary was showcased at the launch of Europass Ireland in the Department of Education and Science in Dublin.
Europass is a framework of five initial documents including the Diploma Supplement and is the subject of Europass Decision 2241/2004/EC. The initiative aims to improve mobility among the participant countries, which stretches well beyond the 25 EU members and includes countries such as Russia and Turkey.
Europass is intended to be an electronic framework of documents and defines how documents should be issued. The Diploma Supplement within Europass in intended to be electronic and should be capable of being authenticated. Digitary is acknowledged as the first system to be implemented to meet the requirements for the Diploma Supplement under Europass.
