Framework Solutions at European Universities Association

Jonathan Dempsey from Framework Solutions (later renamed as Digitary) spoke at a seminar titled Bologna Process - Tangible Developments hosted by the European Universities Association (EUA) that took place on 5 December 2006 at their offices in Brussels.

David Crosier, Programme Development Director at the EUA, gave insights from Trends V, the EUA’s review of progress in the Bologna Process across the 46 participant countries, which shows that there continues to be very considerable progress in the implementation of the Bologna instruments. John O’Brien, Associate Vice President Academic at University of Limerick and an Irish Bologna Promoter, spoke of the Irish experience and of the University of Limerick’s experience of using Digitary for the issuing and authentication online of official electronic graduation documents, including the European Diploma Supplement. Jonathan Dempsey demonstrated how Digitary is used by Higher Education Institutions in Ireland and the United Kingdom and is being discussed with stakeholders in a number of countries to support Bologna developments.
