Digitary documents are issued using Advanced Electronic Signatures that are compliant with EU Digital Signatures Directive 1999/93/EC and national enacting legislation, making Digitary documents both legally-valid and tamper-evident. 

Signatories of Digitary documents are enrolled using strict enrolment processes that are subject to independent audit.

Only institutions listed here issue legitimate documents through the Digitary system.
