Digitary works in co-operation with the higher education sector and has committed to the sector to not protect the intellectual property in the Digitary approach. This has made it easier for Digitary to become the de facto common practice or standard for the authentication of higher education achievement data in Europe and, in turn, for Digitary to be the system of choice in authenticating higher education achievement.
Digitary remains committed to continue to work with the sector to develop and improve policies, practices and technologies in the exchange of higher education achievement data. We are one of three companies coordinating the Rome Student Systems and Standards Group that aims to promote the development and implementation of standards across Europe.
We strongly believe that we should promote best practice and share experiences, learnings and efficiencies across the higher education sector. We do not, however, dictate how institutions should implement policies when they implement Digitary, and therefore we provide the means to configure many aspects of the Digitary approach. We believe that this flexibility can be accommodated within standardised project structures, so that institutions find it easy to implement Digitary in the most suitable way.
We strive to maintain an in-depth knowledge of higher-education to be able to work as an effective partner to our customer institutions and the higher education sector as a whole. We strive to achieve excellence by delivering technology that is simple to implement, use and manage. We aim always to respect our colleagues and customers and wherever possible to work efficiently and with good humour.
