University of Limerick Showcases Digitary at Conference

University of Limerick is the first Higher Education Institution to implement Digitary and may be the first University anywhere to issue electronic official graduation documents online.

University of Limerick’s Head of Student Academic Administration, Nuala Cullimore, co-presented with Framework Solutions (later renamed as Digitary) at the Student Records Officers Conference in Warwick on her experience of the project to deploy Digitary and of her department’s experience with the system since deployment.

The university has issued about 12,000 documents since Digitary was deployed in September last, three each to approximately 4,000 students. This is likely to be the first time anywhere that official graduation documents, including Degree Certificates, have been issued electronically.
